I was given some alcohol inks and Yupo paper this christmas and consequently spent the next month with brightly coloured dyed fingers until I remembered you were supposed to wear gloves.
This picture was created with teakwood, lemonade and Poppy red blown with a straw to create the flowers. Once dry I then used posca acrylic paints to maek out some of the highlights.
Having finished this I wasn’t surprised that it was snagged by my mother, as that is what happens with every poppy painting.
