This is a departure for me as I have decided to have a go painting on board. I started laying down blocks of background colour using a sponge brush for the blues yellow and pinks and then filling in with a large hogs head brush for the dark greens and lime. The real fun in this picture came in using the natural sponge for the heathers and gorse. I liked the bursts of sun yellow breaking up the purple and pinks in the forground with kust the smallest hints of the same on the peacks behind. There is a feeling of this never ending carpet of colour.
